Edward Edwards (of the parish of Bettisfield) in the parish of Bronington on 30 October 1768 at 11 in the night burglariously entered the dwelling house of John Byrch and stole 2 shirts (value 2/- each), 2 bags (value 1/- each) and a case knife (value 6d) (WALES 4/1008/1).  He was ordered for execution on Monday 10 April (WALES 14/85): but was not executed until June (?) after a lengthy search for an executioner..
